I have been going to horse camp ever since I was little. My friends and I continued to go back year after year, and soon enough, I was able to work there as a counselor and even later promoted to the head day counselor. I have essentially grown up on this ranch and quarantine shut it down during the summer of 2020 - leaving me not able to finish this journey as I had intended. My close friends who I began this journey with and I went up for ‘our last summer’ to say goodbye. This collection depicts one final hike through the pastures of the ranch. It’s hard to describe to someone who has never gone to camp what makes it so special, so I hope my images do it more justice.
